OK, open a new file sized 600 x 600 and decorate as you wish, leaving the sun until last.
Make sure you add any text and your watermak and merge all layers.
Now, we can add the sun. Place the sun tube at the top left hand corner of your image.
Using your Magic Wand tool click inside the sun and the spikes leading out of the
sun so the whole sun is outlined by dancing dots.
Now copy your image 3 times, using Shift +D and pressing the letter D 3 times.
Minimmise your original and go to your first copied image.
We are now going to add some animation by using the noise effect.
Go to your Adjust tab and click on Add/Remove Noise and select Add Noise.
A little preview box will appear showing you some settings and a preview of what your
sun will look like. For the purpose of this tutorial, use the same settings as mine
as shown below.
Save that file and go to your second copied image.
Go back to your Adjust, then Add/Remove Noise then select Add Noise.
Again, change the settings to the same as mine, as shown below.
Save that file and go to your final copied image and go back to your Adjust tab,
then Add/Remove Noise then select Add Noise and change the settings to
match mine as shown below.
Save that file.
You will have noticed that in order to change the appearance on each image slightly,
I have alternated my settings from Gaussian Blur to Uniform. You will see the effect of
this when you open your files in Animation Shop.
OK, you should now have 3 saved files, so time to open up Animation Shop.
Using Animation Wizard, change your speed setting to 19 and call up your files in the right order.
Check with your Animation Preview to see how it looks.
With this method you can also select other areas to add the noise effect which gives the look
of a very subtle glitter effect.
Easy wasn't it.
